ARCA returns to DuQuoin Fairgrounds "Live" on Labor Day

Corona,CA (August 14, 2018) - The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards will hit the dirt at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds to celebrate Labor Day with MAVTV’s live coverage of the General Tire Grabber 100 on Monday, September 3, at 3:00 pm ET with its re-air at 6:00pm.

The race on the 1-mile clay oval will be the 17th of 20 on the 2018 schedule, so this and the next two – also "live" on MAVTV the Motorsports Network – will be major factors in determining the season long battle between Sheldon Creed of Alpine, California and Zane Smith of Huntington Beach, California.

This will be the 20th ARCA race at DuQuoin, where the list of race winners includes ARCA legend Frank Kimmel, Tony Stewart and Ken Schrader. Last year’s victor was eventual champion Austin Theriault, who drove for Ken Schrader Racing.

The series will move from southern Illinois to Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsburg, Indiana, for the Shore Lunch 200 on September 7 and to Salem, Indiana, for the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA Fall Classic on September 15.

The ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards is an American stock car series - the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a feeder series into NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, road courses, and dirt tracks.
