All Star Circuit of Champions Winged Sprints!
Premier - Sunday, Sept. 9 at 8:00pm ET
CORONA, CA (August 31, 2018) - Whether you’re a fan of young guns like Carson Macedo and Aaron Reutzel or old guard favorites like Jac “The Wild Child” Haudenschild and Dave Blaney, there’ll be no lack of drama when winged sprint car action returns to MAVTV this fall in the form of Tony Stewart’s Arctic Cat All-Star Circuit of Champions.
Seven one-hour shows, the first on Sunday, Sept. 9, at 8 pm, ET, will cover the action in a series widely-considered the birthplace of the modern winged sprint car. The telecast will re-air at 11 pm, ET, the same day.
Founded in 1970 by Bud Miller, ownership of the All-Star Circuit of Champions (ASCC) passed to Bert Emick in 1980 and to Guy Webb in 2002 before motorsports entrepreneur and NASCAR legend Tony Stewart, himself a standout sprint car driver, took the reins in 2015 with the stated goal of taking the ASCC to a new level of success and sustainability.
Tune in Sunday nights for some of the wildest, wheel-to-wheel sprint car racing on the planet as Macedo, the 22-year-old Californian, and Reutzel, the 28-year-old Texan, battle for bragging rights on some of America’s most iconic dirt tracks including the legendary Eldora Speedway.
