April 17, 2019 - This past weekend we went 2-4 against Mother Nature. We got in our (points) season opener in at Virginia Motor Speedway, rained out at Williams Grove Speedway, raced at Port Royal Speedway and rained out at Bedford Speedway.

We kicked the weekend Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, VA on Thursday night. It was the 2nd ever appearance for the All Stars at VMS. 24 cars signed in for racing action. Danny Dietrich jumped out to the early lead and got into lapped traffic at lap 5 with Cory Eliason lurking in the back ground. Eliason would slip by Dietrich on lap 7 and pace the field the rest of the way. It was Eliason’s 1st career All Star Circuit of Champions win! Dietrich would finish 2nd and Brock Zearfoss 3rd.

After raining out on Friday at Williams Grove, we continued our trek north to Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, PA. It was our 41st appearance at the Speed Palace. Danny Dietrich led the first 28 laps of the 30 lap event. A yellow with 2 laps remaining bunched the field up and gave Lance Dewease life. Dewease would slip past Dietrich off turn 4 coming to the white flag and go on to pick up the win. Dewease has now won 6 of the last 7 All Star races at Port. Dietrich finished 2nd and Logan Wagner charged from 13th to finish 3rd.
