Dan joined MAVTV in 2014 and led its transition into a motorsports network. As Senior Vice President, Content Distribution & Strategic Partnerships, Dan has been instrumental in expanding MAVTV’s growth.
Prior to joining MAVTV, Dan was with The Walt Disney Company involved in the launch of Disney’s, ESPN’s, and ABC’s linear and digital media products. Before The Walt Disney Company & ESPN, Dan served as Vice President of Content Distribution & Marketing for MTV Networks.
Dan holds a BA degree in Economics from UCLA and resides in Newport Beach, California with his wife Diane and their three children.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) & General Counsel
Kevin joined MAVTV in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and General Counsel and is responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of the network with direct accountability for operational planning, accounting, forecasting, administrative affairs, information technology and human resources.
Prior to MAVTV, Asbell served as General Counsel for Lucas Oil and was the chief legal advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and President of Lucas Oil, and other members of the executive management team, and was responsible for all legal matters impacting Lucas Oil and each of its subsidiaries and affiliates. Previously, he practiced corporate and entertainment law as a sole practitioner and was COO of Treasure Entertainment, Inc., a feature film production and management company.
Asbell earned his two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Indiana University, his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Producers Program at the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. He is a member in good standing of the State Bar of California.

Senior Vice President Content Distribution & Strategic Partnerships
Ed joined MAVTV in 2013 as Vice President, Distribution to oversee all aspects of the Content Distribution business. His efforts have seen substantial subscriber growth for the network by expanding MAVTV’s partnerships with over 200 video platforms.
Prior to MAVTV, Ed was Vice President, Affiliate Sales for SportsTime Ohio (STO). As part of the original executive team to launch the Cleveland Indians regional sports network, Ed was the lead on all contract negotiations with TV providers and was successful in getting full distribution for STO across the Cleveland Indians TV territory. Before STO, Ed started his career in the cable industry with Fox Cable Networks.
